Joe is a former Assistant District Attorney, Confidential Law Clerk to the State Supreme Court, and has continuously served the Town of Elma as Town Justice since 1980 where he has presided over thousands cases and hundreds of trials.  In 2006, his judicial experience, qualifications, and reputation prompted the Chief Administrative Justice of the Eighth Judicial District to appoint him as interim Cheektowaga Town Judge.

In his private practice, Joe concentrates his focus on helping clients who suffered personal injuries, estate planning, probate, real estate, matrimonial, and civil litigation.  He maintains an active membership with the Erie County Bar Association, and participates in various judicial and elder law seminars to stay abreast of the ever-changing ebb and flow of the law.

Born and raised in the town where he practices law, Joe maintains a visible presence in the community as member of the Drug and Alcohol Task Force and as a member and former President of the Elma Kiwanis Club and past Master of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge.  He also formerly served on the Board of the Elma Marilla Wales Boys and Girls Club, was a Little League Coach and raised three wonderful children.
